yesterday, as I sat in my Benton Scholarship Interview and talked about every part of my life from being a freshmen until now, I realized how fast the past four years have flown bye. Freshman year was by far one of the best years of my life. Walking the halls at SJHS was much different than anything I had ever seen in the small K-12 Meadow School. Everyone was different and much more interesting. Little did I know that many of these people would become my best friends and we would have many great times together. Sophomore year was more challenging but I began to understand myself and realize what I wanted in my future. Junior year was by far the most difficult. My classes were extremely hard and calculus was kicking my butt. Never did I ever think that calculus would become my favorite class and my intended major in college. By the end of junior year, all I could think about was how badly I was ready to be a senior. Senior year finally arrived and flew bye all at the same time. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting outside of school at 6am waiting to reserve my spot for the freshman NY trip. This year has been another great year. I'll never forget winning our first Powder Puff football game, or the poles that took a lot of muscle and stress to get up, or the old car that we beat up for no reason at all, the late nights that we stayed up defending that pole, the senior camp out in front of the school, getting stopped by the police at 1am because they thought we were the arsonist, the very stressful but very enjoyable senior project, the wonderful things you can learn and the fun times you have in calculus for two years straight, my field experience with Mrs. Wood, Homecoming Court, the never dull days in teacher cadet, dancing like a fool at key club convention, learning how to Dougie off of YouTube, our very famous lipdup, the yearbook family, my date with my best friends that will be in Raleigh with me next year, all the interviews and applications, receiving my teaching fellow letter, getting in to Meredith College Honors Program, senior ball, deciding which college I would go to, and so much more. This year has been so enjoyable and I have loved almost every minute of it. As ready as I am for something different in my life, I can honestly say I'm going to miss all of these things. This past year, so many of my dreams have came true and I have had an unbelievable senior year. It's hard to see this part of my life end, but I know the best part of my life is yet to come.
